Motors are machines which convert one form of energy into mechanical energy to make things move. They can be found in the engines of cars or trains, but also in things household appliances, computers, and nanobots.
In this zone, you will meet one engineer who designs parts for aeroplane engines, one who simulates Formula 1 cars in order to predict the best design for each race and one who develops software for motor control systems. There is also an engineer who is helping to ensure jet engines use less fuel and one making sure that cars are being built correctly and another improving the oil used in motors so they are more efficient.
