Full time mum, part time engineer
I live in South Wales with my husband, little boy and two Maine Coon cats. I love to play netball and I am a keen saxophone player, playing in a local amateur big band. I enjoy outdoor sports and love snowboarding and surfing.
I help people find solutions to their engineering problems
I have two very different roles at work; 1) I am a materials engineer and I use my knowledge and experience in this area to help companies such as power generators solve their big problems and 2) I work as part of a team that identifies new big jobs that companies will need help with and I work with that team to make sure that my company is chosen to do that work.
My Typical Day: Talk to lots of people about lots of different things! Maybe fit in some lunch.
I usually have to talk to lots of people; my customers and the colleagues that I work with. I am on the phone or video calling a lot! I use my laptop for everything I do.
