      I would not say so. I have worked with many female engineers. The work is exactly the same.

      Being a female engineer, I wouldn’t say it is harder to become an engineer in regards to gaining qualification and jobs but I do feel that it is a little bit harder to undertake activities sometimes from experience of actually working on a construction (this will be different for other areas of engineering). However, it is changing massively now and nothing should stop you doing what you want to do. You just have to be very strong minded!

      Being a Female in the engineering industry is very easy to get into, in terms of being successful in the application process and gaining the relevant qualifications. Although being a female engineer can be quite limiting, in terms of undertaking certain activities, that may involve heavy tools or materials. But, if you put you mind to it, with enough experience and training you can do anything.
