  I would hazard a guess at something along the lines of bats and dolphins. Through study of these animals we have been able to develop some very helpful technology.

  Interesting question…. I haven’t really studied animals within engineering but I would say maybe a monkey? Just due to the fact from studying them and genetically modifying them we have been able to discover vaccines to help cure some diseases.
