I didn’t really undertake a certain path during school to become an engineer. I chose my GSCE subjects on what I enjoyed as I had no idea what I wanted to do till after my GCSE’s. GCSE subjects which maybe useful though are Geography, DT, Graphics and of course Maths, English and Science.
I had no set path in which I took to become a civil engineer. I chose my GCSE’s on the basis of what I enjoyed (Graphics, Geography, Business and Spanish), and at the time on what I inspired to be; which was a VET. It wasn’t until my last few exams I decided to change career paths. Which goes to show, anything can happen!
None really during school. As much as your teacher wont like this answer, i was not interested in school. I think GCSEs come at a really dodgy time in ones development. I for one was very immature, and didnt bother. I had the brains so why try. … Well it turns out that assignments are just if not more important then exams!
