      Aside from my career, I hope to inspire young people to study engineering through outreach events like this and through the children’s book I’ve published (see my profile for more info).

      I like to set myself small challenges outside of work as well as in work. So I’m training to do two half marathons this year and would like to run a full marathon in the next few years. I’d also like to develop the online resource that I’ve mentioned on my profile, so that anyone could do the workshop that I currently run for the Royal Institution. I’d like to develop the resource so any teacher could run the same workshop, and there would be activities that students could do at home that would allow them to learn the same things that I hope the workshop does. I think I might have to develop an origami template for the bones, which will be pretty challenging!
