Question: How do you feel about all this advanced technology? Like, how the human race is advancing and creating so much advanced stuff? (advanced advanced advanced. i tend to keep saying that a lot!)

  I think its great! and exciting! But as long as there are regulations to make sure things are safe and effective, as well as ethical evaluation too in case we advance too far, too quickly and do something irreversibly damaging.

  I think almost all technological advances have been beneficial (at least at the time), but we need think more about what impact we have on the planet. So cars powered by petrol and diesel engines probably aren’t what we would design for personal transport now.
  
  There are all sorts of great advances, but sometimes we should look at how solutions have evolved in nature. So rather than using energy for air conditioning we could learn from termites for example, who build tall towers (for termites!) that allow the temperature to be kept cool inside them. There are lots of other examples out there, if you look for ‘biomimicry” and “bioinspired” there is lots of information.
