• Question: What jobs did your parents have.

      My parents are self employed and run their own company that buys and sells real estate, stocks and bonds. They are terrible at science and engineering! I’m still trying to explain to them what I do.

      Both my parents were teachers – they’re retired now. My Mum taught maths and my Dad taught Electronics and Biology (quite an unusual combination). I’m not sure if they knew what all engineers do when I started, but they have always been interested in what I do.
