• Question: When will cell sheet technology be avaidable?

      Cell sheet technology is already in clinical trial ie being tested in humans for cornea, cardiac, cartilage and periodontal ligament. So if that all goes well then it will become available in the next few years!

      As mention below growing sheets of cells in not a problem. The next challenge is to grow new organs, stem cell work can repair some organs.
      3D printing to build scaffolds of organ so cells can grow around the structure and build a new organ, but generally cosmetic such as ears, currently made out of cartilage.
