I started life as a physicist, however I found the engineering part of the work more interesting. Attaching medical equipment, designing and construsting circutry to measure phsyiological changes – safely. Enventually got my Chartered Engineer, at the registered through the IEE (Instute of Electrical Engineers).

I always wanted to find out what was beneath the surface of things that made them work. I love the challenge of solving problems and making things. But I also love people and I wanted to help people get better. So I decided to look through different courses and eventually came to bioengineering which is a mixture of engineering and medicine that I thought was perfect for me. I think you should always go with what you love doing.

Engineering is the only thing that allows me develop my understanding and design and create new things! I can’t think of any other profession that allows you to do that. Engineering is amazing!
