      I live in Manchester and can quote most episodes of the Simpsons up to Season 8 where the quality really dropped off. I do quite a bit of running and have run 8 marathons.

      I'm an electronic engineer, working on wearable devices, making them more accurate with better battery life

      I work on wearable sensors: making them with flexible electronics so they can bend and stretch rather than being rigid and bulky. I work a lot with clinicians to make sure that our wearable devices measure the things that they really want to measure.

       

    • My Typical Day: Meetings! I spend most of my time supervising other people doing electronic design, or testing their work. Do I help them come up with methods for testing their work, making sure it is correct. They then go away and run equipment to do the experiment.
