      I live in the green city of Sheffield. In my free time, I like to make collages using old magazines ✂️.

    • My Work

      I try to make capacitors work at higher temperatures. These devices store electrical energy and can be discharged faster than a battery. 🔋

      I work in a laboratory where we assemble the capacitors and measure their electrical properties under different conditions; such as high temperature and high voltage.
      Also, we make use of electron microscopes to see what happened to the material.

    • My Typical Day: When I have to prepare the materials and make the devices, I get to the university at 8:30am, do lots of lab work like experiments. Some other days I stay at home and look at the data using graphs, plan more experiments or make presentations to explain what I've found out.

        Put together a machine that is able to "cook" a ceramic in less than a minute

        I don't have a favourite singer or band, but I really enjoy most of the acoustic covers of pop songs
