My current aspiration is to become a chartered engineer that gives me professional recognition across industry regarding my knowledge and experience. As for the environment, the main challenge is to get global recognition and engagement regarding environmental issues which makes environmental aspirations particularly difficult. Therefore I hope that moving forward industries shall place equal emphasis on consideration towards environmental issues as they do safety. With this level of engagement design can move away from particular wasteful and high intensity process and into a more sustainable age.
I’d like to be able to look back and see that I have contributed. When I think about the environment I’d like to think that I’ve done as much as I can to preserve it and help it thrive.
For myself; it is live, learn and leave a legacy.
For the environment; it is leave as small an impact as possible on my ecosystem.. so recycle, use bike instead of car, buy less or no plastic, move from gas to reneable source of electricity etc.
