  Learning engineering in India was not different. I did my Bachelors in Petroleum Engineering (4 years) in India and my Masters (1.5 years) in Petroleum Engineering in UK. Nowadays you can do a 5 year Integrated Bachelors & Masters degree in UK, which is pretty intense but worth it.
