• Question: how many awards have you got for what you do

      @09tolat1: I do not really expect any personal awards, but the companies I have worked in have been given the Queen’s award for Industry, and the Queen’s for Export. In a different way my name is on three “patents” (along with three or four other people from the same company) which are documents that register new and important ideas and devices that we developed at work. These are sort of things you mean, i think. Regards Robin

      My work isn’t really about awards – research is about working together and sharing progress around the world so that everyone benefits and we find a better solution faster.
