@tdolra2im7: I love the technical problems and making things work better. I used to be a Company Director and found that I was on more money, but there were so many things that i did that I had to push myself to do as they were not what I was interested in. So I down-sized my job as they say and asked for a staff-engineer position with little or no management responsibiliy and am more than happy to be on less monay but having much more fun! Hope this answers your question. Robin
I love being able to understand how things work and come up with ideas to make them better. I also like the variety of work that I can do – designs for equipment, experiments, reading other people’s work, analysing data, computer models – every day there is something different to do so you never get bored.
