@josh: You are just starting out but I am what most people would regard as an old fogy. I have had a family who are grown up now and I have has a brilliant working life, starting my making cars, then the body-scanner magnets that are in MRI systems, which I felt was a very worthwhile thing to work on, and now I am helping make a new, and I think, much better type of reactor that may help mankind for future generations. So my present ambition is to see the next generation fusion reactor actually work as intended, and then I will retire happy. Regards Robin…
Hi Josh. I think I would like to teach people about engineering. I like explaining how things work and why they are important and I also like helping people to learn. I think I will keep doing my own projects as well though because it is fun being able to investigate things that interest you as much as you want. I would also like to have a family and I’m getting married next year, so I don’t just have ambitions for my career.
My ambition is to be remembered for doing something great. To go down in history as “there was this dude named Usaid and he did something really great”.
