• Question: what makes you different from the other engineers?

      Firstly experience, and secondly I think i, like many people, can look at a mechanism and see how it works (like the insides of a clock) so I class myself as a natural born engineer, whichi helps. A good bit of work at uni and then experience also increases your usefulness, and making a few mistakes along the way, as they teach you a lot! Regarsd Robin

      My industry (nuclear power) is different because even after you switch off a nuclear reactor, it will still generate a lot of heat and this still has to be managed safely and professionally.

      I’m different to the others because I have to think hard about the possible consequences even after you would naturally assume something to be safe and switched off.
