• Question: Who is your favourite scientist ?

      I don’t have a favourite scientist really, but my favourite engineer is Brunel. I live in Bristol and he spent a lot of time here building things like the Suspension Bridge in Clifton, the Temple Meads train station, the SS Great Britain…. Google Isambard Kingdom Brunel if you want to see more. He was a civil engineer and sometimes had some weird ideas, but he was brilliant.

      There are so many. Newton, Einstein, Barnes Wallace, Archemedes, Farady, I could go on! I do rather like Leonardo Da Vinci and his wonderful machines. Of yes and Heath Robinson.for obvious reasons.
