      Hi Luke!

Once I’ve done my research, I’d like to be able to present it to people and for it to be used in industry. For me personally I’d like to either carry on doing more research or go into industry as a professional engineer. Whatever I do, I want to be someone that’s really technical – I really enjoy the detailed maths and science side of Engineering rather than do something with project management 🙂

      Hi Luke,

I’m not sure yet, it’s a blank page at the moment. Once I have completed my PhD, I think I would like to go and work for a company and use my knowledge of renewable energies and chemical processes in a practical way. Or I might decide I want to keep on researching new things, so I might stay in university and try to become a professor some day. Hmm decisions, decisions.

My work is not for a research degree or phD, Its my job. I have several project on the go at any one time, some may be constructing a new road, tunnel, bridge or runway or it might be bringing in new technology into the public domain.
Once one project finishes another one starts. I have completed over 700 projects in my career so far

      Hey Luke,
When I’m done with my doctorate, I’ll take a couple of weeks well earned holiday!
Then I’ll hopefull get a job as a sustainability consultant. Or maybe I’ll start my own company…?
I like to work on the more people-focussed side of engineering. Understanding how people’s actions and choices affect the environment and the ability of technology to improve it.
