      Hi Mah 🙂

I probably have two! The first one was the huge excavations I worked on as part of the metro system in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup (they’re building something the same size as the London Underground). It’s amazing to work on huge projects like this (the holes were as deep as 8 double decker buses – you can see a picture on my profile!) but it’s really difficult especially when you’re working with people in different countries. When you have meetings you have to be so clear when you explain yourself over the phone!

The second is what I’m doing now! The scary thing about research is you’re studying that subject because there isn’t an answer to the problem yet – you’re going to find it! But not knowing the answer or what the answer should look like is sometimes really difficult. I have days where I don’t know if what I’ve done is right or looks like what it’s supposed to! It’s like jumping into the unknown:)
