• Question: Which do you hold more confidence in, String theory or quantum loop theory?

      Neither – I’ve never done that sort of physics so I have no idea !

      As an Engineer rather than I scientist, I tend to lean towards Loop Quantum Gravity over the newer String Theory, as it makes some define predictions.
      I much preferred nuclear physics as things like LQG made my head hurt too much

      Hi Luke!

      I don’t really know much about either of them! But as an Engineer, I like things that can be shown experimentally or be tested and aren’t just theory so I’d probably pick Quantum Loop Theory as I think we’ll be able to test that theory before string theory 🙂
