Question: how do you make your work more sustainabe?

Hi Louise81, I spent a lot of time at the factories looking at the way that beer and cider is currently produced and think of ideas to make it more sustainable. Some of the ideas have included; recycling water to use less, making the process shorter to use less energy, using less heat when cleaning equipment to use less energy, using less chemicals to clean equipment to reduce chemicals which need to be treated to go to waste, looking at ways to recycle carbon dioxide (which is a by-product of the fermentation process) and use it to make the bottles fizzy for the customers. These are just a few, but when you look into it you can find lots of new ways to make any process more sustainable.
