Right let me give this a go then (even though I think you might have a better idea than me!)…
A fuel cell uses hydrogen as a ‘fuel’ to generate electricity. It is split into electons and protons (it’s basic atomic particles) which flow through different parts of the cell. Electrons generate electricity. Then these particles recombine with oxygen to produce the only byproduct from the process.
What do you think this byproduct is if you combine hydrogen and oxygen?
