  When I worked at a big multinational company called Syngenta I had to follow a dress code, appear at work at specific times (9-5) and pursue the research my boss was interested in. It wasn’t so bad, almost everyone in the world has to follow these rules, but I eventually chose to leave because now, as a PhD candidate, I wear whatever I want, work the hours I choose and research the things I am interested in.
