Because I am the first person to answer your question haha!
Really though it is up to you to decide from how good our answers are to the questions you ask us about our jobs.
Also take a look at what we would all do with the money if we win… what do you think is the best idea for spending the money? I would appreciate your feedback.
I agree with Danielle it is who you feel is the best personally but we all have different places we would like the money to go towards.
I am starting a STEM workshop in September going to schools who have had no visitors who have spoken about science and engineering. I would really like to win to put together some activities for schools and get them to learn things they never knew about engineering 🙂 I picked this because I know exactly where the money will go to.
I would also like to spend some of the money for food engineering education abroad to people who don’t know much about it and need it the most.
I am still making some final decisions though, which one do you think would be best or do you have any suggestions for things we could use the money for as Danielle said ?
I think I should win because I would like to donate the money to the engineering section of my Sea Cadet and Royal Marines Cadets unit.
For many in the unit, we are the only real exposure the young people get to engineering and they are taught by two professional engineers into the bargain!
Because we are a charity we have to buy all our own tools and learning resources which are now starting to show their age and I would like to use the money won to replace these tools and invest in some new equipment for the next generation of young engineering cadets.
I feel passionately about encouraging students to go into science and engineering subjects because I remember being your age and feeling interested in engineering, but never having the opportunity to talk to anybody about what an engineer does. I want to make sure that other students are able to find out as much as possible and I would love the chance to invest more money to do this more often.
I want to use the money to either do a competition for students in the UK to do an engineering project and the winners can get an engineering experience day with some fun tasks too. Or I will go to Africa to encourage students there to get into engineering jobs in their future.
Which do you think would be the best way to spend the money if I win?
