  For me is most certianlly is. I find admitting to being something of a geek is hugely liberating, it means I am free to enjoy the things I enjoy and I don’t have to pretend to be into the ‘cool things’
  
  There is also the element that if I admit to being a ‘geek’ others can’t throw it back at me as an insult because if they try I can just say ‘yep, thanks for noticing! ‘
