Yes. When we design a prototype and test it, we try the food to confirm that it’s fresh and tasty. This is the best part of my job 😉

I’m always tasting the food we make; its one of the best ways to tell if you’ve designed or developed the correct thing because in the end its food for eating! Some times it goes wrong and it taste horrible, other times it’s great! We also do ‘consumer studies’ to find out if the wider public like what we’ve made. Its a whole science in its self…Sensor Science and Consumer Insights.

Haha not yet! Luckily I keep a supply of biona waffles and Green and Blacks dark chocolate (which are animal free!) in the office.

Yes every day if you want to. There are always plenty of biscuits to choose from especially when we are developing new products and you ‘have to’ sample them to make sure they taste ok 🙂

Yup. There are always taste tests where we see how new ingredients, chocolate, fillings or packaging affect the product. There are also lots of samples in the office so we keep up to date with what’s out there.
