Yep I sure do! Some are linked to my job (which isn’t so much a job in the conventional sense as I totally love what I do!) some are totally not!
I help design interactive experiences and exhibitions. Quite often for art science festivals based around food and the senses. Plus I get to travel around the country giving talks about what we do in the lab and beyond, helping teach people about the importance of seeing the value in animal products and trying to connect back with what we eat.
I also help teach science at festivals, events etc. while dressed in a sparkly hat and tye dye leotard. Oh so glittery 😀
I actually run a magazine too. It’s called onin.london and it’s all about ‘off the beaten track’ London, so we get to visit some really cool places. I was a festival journalist last year and this is what got me hooked on them.
But I do love to climb, run around the park near me with a group of other nutty people early on a saturday morning, do as much yoga as possible (for peace of mind, body and soul!), sit and drink tea with my housemates and go to gigs (lots of music from electronic to old school rock)
