      Hi,
As with most jobs, engineers will get paid for their work and it is usually quite good compared to other jobs that people do. The actual amount depends on many things like the type of engineering you do, the company you work for and how experienced you are. There is a big demand for engineers in the food industry so that will help keep the pay higher.

I am not super rich and never will be doing this. Many of my friends from uni earn more than me; I don’t struggle don’t get me wrong.

However the joy if making a difference in the world, having such a awesome team around me and working my dream job outweighs any money.

Also I live in a community where money is not a primary thought. We support each other in following our dreams and community, love and support far outweigh any money driver!

I do make money and it is enough for the lifestyle I live with my family. My advice would be to work hard to develop a career for yourself which will reward the effort which you put in.

Although everyone lives getting paid, I’m sure a lot of people don’t do it only for the money. The main things I look for are nice people to work with (because you’ll see them all the time!) and new , interesting challenges.

I agree with my colleagues. It depends on the type of engineering and the company you work with. The main important thing is to do whatever you love and it will be rewarded in the future.
