Wow! I think the guys in the Fuel Zone may be better qualified to answer your question. My opinion is below though…
I don’t think electricity will ever run out. Electricity is generally made by heating up water to make steam, the steam then drives a big wheel called a turbine which in turn generates electricity for our homes.
At the moment, a lot of the steam is made by burning gas, coal and oil (squished dinosaurs! Ask your teacher!). Oil and gas will eventually run out so I think more of our steam will be made by nuclear power. We may get rid of the steam step by using things like wind and wave power but we need more development to make these things work for the whole of the UK (or the world!)
