• Question: How long does it take to get money back from solar panel use?

      Installing solar panels isn’t all about making money, it’s more about using energy that has been generated in a low carbon way from a free renewable resource i.e. the sun, instead of using energy that may have come from a coal/ oil/ nuclear power station that has the potential to damage the environment. Saying that, lots of people do invest in solar power for more then the ‘green’ credentials, and can normally expect to make their money back in 6-10 years.
