      My role model is Sally Ride, who was a physicist and an astronaut. She was the first American woman in space! She’s done many cool things in her life, including working for NASA. I really looked up to her while growing up and I still do.

      My role model is Nicola Adams, the world’s first female boxing Olympic champion. Whilst Nicola isn’t a engineer, I think that some of her characteristics make her a great role model in life.

      Nicola began boxing at 13 and became Olympic Champion at age 29, showing that if you are determined and dedicated you can achieve your goals in life, no matter how big they might seem at the beginning. I was lucky enough to watch Nicola in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014.
