About Me
I live in Oxford. I'm a systems engineer on fusion power plants. Before that I was a spacecraft engineer. If I was not an engineer, I'd be a musical theatre star tap dancing my way onto Broadway.

My Work
Complex engineering projects are just like puzzles, and I am the engineer holding the lid of the jigsaw box, who understands the big picture of all the tiny pieces.
-
My Typical Day: I (resentfully) get out of bed, make a smoothie and go to my working from home desk. I attend meetings with scientists and engineers from all over Europe online, read requirements and create huge diagrams of engineering systems. I go for lunch with my husband and a walk in the park near our house. The afternoon is much the same, with a lot of tea involved. I finish at 4:30pm and go do yoga to start my chill time for the evening.
