• Question: What made you want to do engineering?

      I like solving problems and making things better than they already are. I also heard that we need more engineers than we have at the moment, and that made me think that I would be able to find a job working on something fun and interesting. I was right!

      I could do maths at school and I liked it but I wanted to apply it in the real world to make a positive impact. I also wanted to be creative. Engineering is the best thing I found to let me do both!

      I learnt about nuclear fusion whilst at school and really wanted to find myself a place on the team of people trying to solve it! I was always good at maths and science at school, and this seemed like a really good way to put those skills to good use!
