Right now, I’d say yes, I am more of a journalist in some ways, but in many ways I still design experiments and conduct research like I did as an engineer in the NANO lab, just in different ways! I hope to always be involved with both engineering and Journalism research!

Doing both IS very exciting! There is a women at LSU who will call the ‘Bone Lady’. She is a forensics scientist… she can extract DNA out of bones from crime scenes to discover a person’s identify and much more! She was an English literature student before she went into science! Now she writes wonderful books about her work…. It would be wonderful to be able to so eloquently write about my work in science that young students and other people in the public sphere could enjoy and learn from!
