      I was on a programme on “Teachers’ TV” a couple of years ago. It was a programme about a colleague of mine, Faye, who is a female engineer. I helped out with a workshop at a school where we would go to run activities based on science and engineering so my face and voice were featured for quite a bit.
      It was embarassing to watch it back but I’m glad I did it.

      No, I have never been on TV and I don’t watch TV either.

      I was on TV once… it was for my big diving competition, SEC Championships, that happened my senior year! That year, as I was going for my last dive off of the high dive (10 meters tall), I hit my heels on the concrete platform on the way down! I went to the hospital and got 10 stitches. But I toughed it out… I returned to the pool for the finales and ended up winning the championships with the stitches in my heels 😉
