      You can earn anything from about £15 per hour to £70-80 an hour, or even more!

      On an average, biomedical engineers can expect decent salary. Graduate salary can range from £25,000 to £28,000 and peak salaries can go to £60,000/£70,000. Usually, if you work as a research engineer at the University you will earn little less than what you would in an Industry. But working at University also has some other advantages…

      It depends on what qualifications you have and how long you have been doing the job. Experienced people get paid a lot more than those who have just started. However sometimes if you are paid a lot more, you are expected to work much longer days.
      It depends on what you find important, if it is having lots of money then working as much as you can is what you need to do. However if you find spending time with your family important, then working a reasonable amount of hours for a sensible wage would be better.

      Typically, someone in Biological Engineering who has a Masters’ or PhD degree earns around $60,000 dollars or more in the United States. This is very good money!
