• Question: Why did you want a job in Quality Control and Quality Assurance?

      Hello shivani.

      When I got my first job in engineering it happened to be in Quality Control. I had already studied it at university and I had little choice because I had no experience.

      I loved the job though and within a very short space of time I was promoted to Quality Assurance and then I moved on to be a Production Controller in high volume manufacturing. (That’s a company that makes hundreds of thousands of products a year)

      There is a shortage of engineers with the experience I have and I find that there are always lots of jobs in this area of work. Also, I am frugal and like to save companies money, so this is the right place to be for me at the moment. 🙂
