Maybe a language translator or a dancer.

My “alternative careers” both involve much of the knowledge and skills I possess now.

I reckon a non-STEM career I’d choose would be a musician. I’d either be a guitarist or drummer in a progressive metal band!

I think I’d be a nurse or an occupational therapist or one of those related healthcare professions! I don’t think I’ve ever met a nurse who wasn’t awesome. They are pretty cool people. Something to bear in mind next time you’re in hospital 🙂

It has also been suggested to me that I should be a professional volcano-boarder. So on second thoughts I have changed my mind – volcanoes wooooo!

I would probably choose a career that still allows me to be creative and make things, but with more emphasis on art than technology, like wood working.
