• Question: Is it successful, using electric shock, to make people walk

      Hi! Good question. It depends on what the problem is that means that they can’t walk by themselves. We need a nerve to carry the electric shock to the muscles (unless you shock the muscles directly but that hurts!), so if the nerves in their spine are damaged, or they’ve had a stroke or something, then yep! It’s absolutely possible to make somebody walk with electric shocks! Some people have other problems that we can’t fix yet, it’s all to do with their body. But it’s only a matter of time until some enterprising engineers invent ways around that!
