I haven’t studied either although I would imagine that most of the topics you will study would be the same in both as they both have a strong emphasis on fluid dynamics (the study of fluid and gas flow). The main differences will probably be in one or two specialist topics and the projects that you will undertake.

You could probably contact an employer and find out if the degrees are interchangeable when you are looking for a job, or maybe ask someone in the Space Zone?

In Aeronautical Engineering, as far as I understand it concerns navigation systems and the like (given that nautical means that it concerns navigation). Whereas Aerospace Engineering would be more concerning aircraft design, dynamics and analysis. However I think the two terms are used to mean the same thing. To avoid confusion and choosing the wrong course at University etc. make sure you read the course syllabus carefully!
