Question: what is your definition of an engineer?

To me engineering is the application of science in real world scenarios.

An engineer is the person who takes scientific theory and applies it to make a product, that can then be manufactured. It could be by knowing how materials work so you know what to make a part out of, or understanding physics and chemistry to make complex machines.
