Question: What was the inspiration behind your idea

I can’t take credit for the idea. I’m building off existing research from previous PhD students that came before me. I’m bringing together two threads of research; one is measuring patient motion with Kinect and the other is correcting for that motion with external signals.

That is generally the nature of research, you rarely start from scratch with a new idea. You build on previous ideas to add your little bit to the scientific field.
