  Without facebook, I think I would have no friends! Most of my friends live a long way away from me, and gmail and facebook and skype and all of those things are life-savers!

  I’ve moved very far away from my friends after I finished University so these help me keep in touch. But they also help me work with friends and colleagues at the University I’m working at now. If I didn’t have them I’d have to rely on phone calls and letters instead. That would certainly slow things down for me!
