Question: Are you worried about the amount of plastic going into the ocean?

Yes! It is estimated that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish – how bad is that?! Plastic in the oceans poses a real threat to a lot of marine life and harms the ecosystems. It is often mistaken for food by fish and birds, meaning they don’t have room in their stomachs for actual food. Other animals can get tangled in plastic waste which causes them harm. It’s important that we try and prevent plastic reaching the oceans by disposing of it better, but also if we can use alternative materials or reuse them in the first place it stops plastic becoming waste.
