Question: How did you get your summer placement?

I looked online in a range of places (websites such as Gradcracker, our university careers page and also Google searching engineering companies I had heard of) to find engineering summer placements I could apply to. For my summer placement at Tata Motors, I filled in an application form (which included attaching my CV and cover letter, and a few questions that I answered). I then had 2 interviews for 2 roles they thought I could do. I ended up being offered both roles to choose from, and as I liked both I decided to half of the summer in one role and half of the summer in the other role to get as much experience as I could.
