Hi, I think it’s important to get the balance of work and family life right. I’m lucky that my employer allows me to work in a flexible way, so I am able to work from home some days to enable me to do the school run, and also (due to working with colleagues in the USA) I am sometimes able to work in the evenings after the kids are asleep. Both my wife and I make sure that we spend time together and as a family regularly. All 3 aspects are important to me, and with a little planning ahead, I am able to easily get the best of of being a husband, dad and an Engineer.
