      It can be – Most of the maths we use day to day in Naval Architecture is quite simple, so I’m rather out of practice with more advanced maths.

      I found some of the maths I had to learn to pass my university course hard. The maths I use at work is usually easier

      Fortunately not. Maths has been one of the subjects that I was able to understand as a child and I have kept it up over the years. Maths gets better with practice, it’s one of those things that you have to do over and over again to understand it.
