  I wouldn’t say I turned into an engineer. I was always both to be honest. I chose to pursue a career in engineering as I needed to support myself after uni- pay bills and so on. I also continued to train and compete whilst I worked but eventually I couldn’t maintain the level of fitness I had when I used to train full time. Maybe one day in the future, I will be back competing again.
